For a Spanish leather goods house that offers the finest traditional craftsmanship in bespoke leather shoes, having the opportunity to present our product directly to one of the largest airlines in the world, is surely a pleasure and a luxury.
For a couple of days, Cambrillón lived, breathed and had the chance to give Lufthansa’s crew members direct, tailored advice at the airline’s primary hub at Frankfurt Airport, the Lufthansa Aviation Centre.

Knowing that Cambrillón’s Oxford or Derby shoes will soon step into the cabin of one of Lufthansa’s Airbus A340-600 or Boeing 747-8, is great news.
Our unique combination of the finest traditional craftsmanship techniques with the most advanced digital technology in personalisation perfectly fits within the airline’s rebranding strategy.

Lufthansa Brand Refresh Project

This project is a deep and long term rebranding process. In the words of Brand Refresh Project Manager Gerhard Kaltenborn, it will take seven years in all before the new crane is seen on every aircraft, every napkin and every sign.
Behind the hashtag #ExploreTheNew , Lufthansa’s new design is about more than just aesthetics. The future design reflects the airline’s transformation and its new self-image.

More on Lufthansa.
Lufthansa traces its history to 1926 when Deutsche Luft Hansa A.G. (styled as Deutsche Lufthansa from 1933 onwards) was formed in Berlin. DLH, as it was known, was Germany’s flag carrier until 1945. Established in 1955, Lufthansa is one of the leading airlines in the world. Based in Cologne, Lufthansa currently flies to 211 destinations in 74 countries with a fleet of close to 350 planes and is the largest European operator of the Airbus A380.
On behalf of the Cambrillón team, we would like to thank Lufthansa for their trust. Shoes are a fundamental part of a gentleman’s style. Having the chance to provide this airline, with such an important element of their crew’s uniform is a dream come true. See you soon at the Lufthansa Aviation Centre in Frankfurt!
